Grip Lesson

Mini Lesson.

Is your grip synched up…with itself.

Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of golfers with a grip that at first glance looks sound, but when put under close scrutiny, is actually fighting with itself. Not only does your right hand have to be on the club correctly, and your left hand have to be on the club correctly, they have to be on the club correctly in relation to each other. What I’ve been seeing the most of is a right hand grip that is too strong (too far clockwise) in relation to the left hand (figure 3). This causes a “fight” between your hands on the down swing, and while they are busy fighting each other, they have less time to focus on hitting the ball long and straight. Continue Reading »

Bridgestone B330RX - Now in Stock!

Posted by Paul Shorts on 17 Oct 2008 | Tagged as: What's New

When the average golfer hits a ball like the PRO V1 or any of the Tour balls for that matter, they don’t compress the ball, and therefore loose much of their potential distance. Bridgestone realized that there were a large number of golfers out there who prefer a Tour ball, but don’t swing fast enough to get proper compression on a ball made for tour swings. Enter the B330RX. This is the first ever Tour ball for golfers with swing speeds under 105 MPH. This ball is being rationed by Bridgestone and they are requesting that we limit purchases to 1 dozen per golfer. Member price $41.84 per dozen.

As you can see we went live with a new site design today. We were starting to outgrow the original design constraints, and wanted to addresses the requests that many of you have made.

But we’re not finished yet (don’t know if we ever will be). We have some exciting new features planned for this Fall… so stay tuned.

If you have comments or suggestions (or if you run into any glitches) please feel free to post your comments here.

Best regards,

Scott Simon
